Thank you for visiting ArtistryU! We are so excited to work with you! Below, we have outlined some important rules and principles of using this Site, so get prepared for some light reading. By using this Site, it means that you understand and agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions, Privacy rules, and important values of this business. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use this website. The Terms & Conditions represent the entire agreement between the Seller, Buyer, or User and ArtistryU and to manage your use of this Site.
In order to sell on ArtistryU's platform you will need to have a Seller account. You can do so by clicking “Become a Seller,” after you have created an account and logged in. Once you have logged in as a Seller, you have access to every product or service you create under View my Page under My Dashboard. Any User can edit their personal information such as the cover picture, password, information about yourself, and more.
Navigating through the website is easy! As a Buyer or Seller, you can start on the homepage and find products and services by clicking the categories on Explore the Marketplace. From there, you can search for what you were looking for using the filters on the left side of the page. We have a box for search tags that you can use to be more specific about your product/service. For example, if you are looking for a blue pair of size 7 shoes, type the kind of shoes in the search box, click the gender and condition in the filter, and use the search tags to type in “blue” and “size 7.” This will help give a direct search for your desired product or service! Going down the line of the filters, you can choose the delivery time, price of the order, conditions, gender if needed, and much more!
As a Seller or Buyer, you can send messages back and forth in our messaging center to discuss the order. You cannot use our website as a form of building clientele to do business outside of the site.

In order to sell on ArtistryU's platform you will need to have a Seller account. Registration is free! Upon completion of this account, a PayPal account is in order to receive payment for the sale of your product or service. Please enter that information thoroughly and correctly. You must provide specific information and answer questions, or sections marked “required.” As a Seller, you agree to the following three things: 1. provide valid, correct, up-to-date and complete registration information; 2. maintain and update provided info to keep it up-to-date and accurate; 3. consent to allow ArtistryU to contact you for the purpose of validating some or all of the registered info that you have provided.
It is a violation of the Terms & Conditions if you:
(1) create more than one profile,
(2) create another account without our permission if your account is disabled,
(3) share your login credentials with other Users, or
(4) let anyone else or User access your account.

You as the Seller or Buyer are solely responsible for the information you post. With this responsibility, you will be subject for all risks related to it.
Please do not submit content, products or services to this Site if any of these three conditions apply: (1) conflict with any other current agreement(s) you have made, (2) infringe on any applicable law or (3) violate any intellectual property rights of a third party.
Additionally, in agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you will provide correct information that you are at least 14 years of age. If you are under 14 years of age, you are not permitted to use ArtistryU Site under any circumstances. If you are under 14 years of age and have active account, upon determination, the account will be terminated immediately. Parents or Guardians, if you have become aware that your child under 14 years of age has registered an account with ArtistryU with personal information, we ask that you contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a registered user, you are 100% responsible for making sure that whatever you post or however you use the Site is in agreement with all the laws and principles outlined in this Terms & Conditions. This Site is for the benefit of you, not for the benefit of any third party. ArtistryU is not responsible for sales that have been authorized from your account, however your safety is our utmost priority and our team will do our best to ensure that our users will be taken care of!
We may modify the terms from time to time, please make sure you check here regularly for any updates. Please contact us with any questions! Upon registering as a Buyer or Seller, we ask that all users provide personal contact information for their account. All the information that is collected is to provide better services and enhance user experience.
Keep It Clean!
ArtistryU has the right to terminate or temporarily deactivate a Seller or Buyer account due to inappropriate use of the Site such as: inappropriate communication or verbal abuse, posting or uploading vulgar images, products, or services, misusing Buyer/Seller information, violation of privacy, and exhibiting unlawful behaviors with transactions. We also have the right to remove content we feel unnecessary at our discretion. Please look at the Restricted Products and Services Page for more guided information. We advise that all members of the Site do not violate any legal practices and use their best judgement when using provided services. ArtistryU has allowed Sellers and Buyers to post items, publish services, upload information and artworks, and edit personal information. Take into consideration that you (Seller or Buyer) will remain the owner of any intellectual property rights that has been provided. Other restrictions are outlined in the Rules of Conduct below.
Reporting Unlawful Activity
As a User, Buyer, or Seller, we greatly appreciate if you report any activity or content that is in violation of our Terms & Conditions. By doing so, you are helping to make our website a safer place for entrepreneurs to showcase their best work! In order to report any suspicious activity please email us at email@example.com. We will keep all outside information anonymous per request and the results of the dispute will be kept in private.
Rules of Conduct
By using this Site, you agree to not use any of the following functionalities that are prohibited by these Terms & Conditions.
- Communicate, disperse, or post any User Content that is unlawful, misleading, false, stolen, hostile, abusive, harassing, explicit, pornographic, offensive, racially or ethnically objective that is an intrusion of someone else’s personal privacy or use of the Site.
- Access or interfere with any private areas of the Site, our computer systems, or the systems of our technical providers.
- Collect usernames and personal contact information and/or send unsolicited/unwarranted commercial communications.
- Interfere with, or disturb the access of any user.
- Use or share another person's username, password, personally identifiable information, financial information without authorization, or attempt to impersonate or make private a user’s identity or contact information.
- Use the Site for illegal purposes, in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
By continuing to use this website, you are in agreement and understanding that all terms and policies must be followed. In return, we ask that you respect the Terms & Conditions and following policies to ensure a positive environment for all users!
You may deactivate your account with ArtistryU at anytime. Please note that all listings must be removed, and your Wallet under Withdrawal Request must be clear prior to deactivation. By deactivating your account, your personal information will no longer be accessible to any user and your PayPal information will not be accessible to the ArtistryU support team. A Seller or Buyer cannot deactivate their account if a dispute is currently taking place, while an order is still being fulfilled, or if funds are still present in the account. If an account is deactivated, all information will be kept on file for disputes or the option to re-activate an account. If your account is deactivated by our support team, you are responsible for completing an order and maintaining communication with the buyer IF NECESSARY.
As a Seller, you are responsible for following the Rules of Conduct for every listing you create and post. You can find what can and cannot be posted Restricted Products and Services list. In order to ensure that your listing is easily found, please be as accurate and thorough with the information you provide during the creating of the service or product. Just a heads up! If your listing does not come up within 48 hours, please contact our support team and we will try to figure out what is going on!
If need be, our team will contact you to edit a service or product you have posted in order to follow the Terms & Conditions of the Site. If you do not adhere to the changes of your listing, your listing will be removed and no longer able to be posted.
As a Buyer, you are responsible for understanding or obtaining an understanding of the product or service of your interest. When you have committed to purchasing a product, you are required to fulfill the payment. Products and Services legal ownership is not transferred by ArtistryU.
In order to be paid for fulfilled product/service orders, the Seller needs to create a PayPal account. The registered Seller will be paid via PayPal after the delivery of the product/service has been completed. As a Seller, you can go to your Wallet to request a withdraw. Typical requests are fulfilled 2 days after delivery has been completed to ensure that the buyer is content with the product/service and that all requests were fulfilled. PayPal withdrawal requests will be processed within 48 hours or the next business day if the request was received over the weekend or holiday. If you use external sources to receive money you are forfeiting your buyer/seller protection by ArtistryU.
No fees (0%) will be deducted from a Seller's profits for a limited time.
PayPal will withdraw a 2.9% plus 0.30 cents fee for each transaction. PayPal will also deduct a 2.9% plus 0.30 cents fee for tip transactions.
In submitting a withdraw request, the seller will be charged a 2% with a $1 cap withdraw fee from PayPal.
Not all of the products and services on ArtistryU are needed to be physically shipped. For example, logos, prints, eBook covers, etc. can be sent via email between the Buyer and Seller. However, there are several items that will need to be physically shipped, such as apparel, books, electronics, etc. In this case, the Seller is required to list a shipping charge and is responsible for shipping to the Buyer.
The Seller does have the option to give their product or service “Free Shipping.” That choice is for the discretion of the Seller.
ArtistryU does not handle or guarantee all shipping arrangements, tracking information, quality, and condition of the item(s) once the Buyer has purchased a product or service and provides their shipping address.
The tracking number and information must be provided to the Buyer immediately from the Seller. Withholding this information can lead to order cancellations and disputes.
If disputes and issues cannot be resolved between buyers and sellers, please contact us.
- Order cancellations can be performed on our Site,
- Our company reserves the right to cancel orders or place accounts and funds on hold due to suspected fraud or misconduct of the Terms & Conditions,
- If an order is cancelled (for any reason), the funds paid will be refunded to the buyer, or
- Accounts may be put on hold during a dispute process.
Our Company will cancel active orders based on the following:
- The seller is unresponsive for more than 24 hours after an order is made,
- Copyright and trademark infringement, or
- The seller or buyer is no longer active on our Site due to violations of the Terms & Conditions or deactivation of his/her account.
Our Company will cancel delivered orders based on the following:
- The seller does not provide proof of the custom order based on seller-buyer agreement,
- The seller requests additional payment that is not outlined in the additional agreement, either through our company or through personal contact,
- The seller withholds the product as bargaining,
- The seller elongated the delivery time without prior authorization, or
- The buyer abuses the revision process.
Our Company will cancel completed orders based on the following:
- Violation of copyright/trademark agreements,
- Corrupt or inappropriate usage of our Site by the seller or the buyer, or
- If products are damaged upon delivery.
Buyers must contact us immediately with any cancellation issues to ensure the most efficient resolutions. We cannot guarantee the cancellation of your order, but we will address each issue and do our best to fulfill requests.
Refunds and Returns
Refunds and Returns need to be discussed between the Buyer and Seller in the messaging center. If an order has been completed and a refund needs to be issued, the Seller will need to notify firstname.lastname@example.org IMMEDIATELY. The full refund may take up to 7 to 10 business days, depending on the timing of the order, PayPal’s functionality, or any disputes. If necessary, an order dispute form can be sent to the ArtistryU support team regarding this matter. Please refer to the return policy below for information about monetary decisions.
Buyers may not return products in which:
- Have been used by the Buyer
- The item is not their style
- The item does not fit their size
- The item has been damaged by Buyer
Buyers may return products in which:
- The item is Prohibited
- The item delivered is not as it was described in the listing
- The item is damaged or defective
- The wrong item was delivered
- The item is potentially counterfeited
Monetary Return Policy
In the event of fraudulence, the seller will not receive any funds from the buyer. The seller will be notified that their behavior is against our Terms and Services and will be reprimanded accordingly. The buyer needs to send proof of scamming or fraud to email@example.com with a completed Dispute Form in order to start the return process. The total monetary amount to be refunded to the buyer will be refunded by PayPal. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If a return of a product or service is necessary, the seller will not receive any funds from the buyer. The buyer needs to submit a complete Dispute Form to email@example.com to begin the return process. The total monetary amount to be refunded to the buyer will be the amount of the product or service that was paid with the subtraction of PayPal transaction fees (2.9% plus 0.30 cents with a $1 cap).
As a Seller, you are able to include photos and videos in your product/service creation for visual representation of the product/service. You do not have ownership or copyrights to Stock Images. If you choose to use photos or Stock Images that are not of your own, please adhere to the following rules:
- You may not use stock images that are against the Restricted Products and Services list
- You may not sell, alter, re-use, re-purpose, re-sell, send, show, recreate, or make any other use of stock images
- You may not use templates to create multiples or duplicates of a product/service
- You may not use logos, trademarks, service identifiers, or any other branding from a company that is not of your own
- You may not use stock images to enable file-sharing of the image file
- You may not try to re-develop or edit the stock image to be able to download or use for a stand-alone basis

On ArtistryU.com, there are three levels of Sellers, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. Our Tier 1 Sellers are the top sellers on the site! They have received numerous positive reviews and have fulfilled several orders by providing their best work! On the listing page, you can filter which level of Sellers you would like to work with, as well as see what all level of Sellers has to offer!
Every Seller has the opportunity to be a Tier 1 Seller by providing great quality products or services and having 5-star reviews! Work your way to the top with ArtistryU!
We take reviews seriously at ArtistryU! In order to write a review after an order has been completed, please follow these steps:
- Under My Dashboard click “My Orders”
- On the current order click “View Detail”
- Click the Seller’s name
- You will be directed to their Seller profile, click “Review”
- Finally, complete a thorough and honest review!
We ask that you honestly review you Seller after each and every order. This feedback is not only great for their business, personal goals, and profile, it also helps other buyers, such as yourself, receive the best work that they are paying for!
A review must be completed at the end of the sale and cannot be used as a bargaining tool. If the ordered is cancelled, the review will stay, unless requested to be removed.
If you have to give negative reviews, we ask that you are polite in the manner in which you speak and give constructive criticism. Make sure that you are thorough and clear in your review on what went wrong and why. If you do not provide enough information in the review, the Seller may not understand what went wrong with the order. For example, if you just tell a Seller you did not like how like how they communicated with you about an order, that feedback you gave is pretty vague. In addition to telling them you did not like how they communicated, you should add why their communication skills were lacking or how they may need to improve.
Reviews that contain offensive, derogatory, hateful, inappropriate, and insulting language will cause disciplinary actions to be taken, such as complete removal of the offender’s account on ArtistryU.
After the review has been completed and submitted, the Seller does not have the ability to tamper with it, and the Buyer does not have the ability to edit.
ArtistryU is a community that wants to ensure all sellers and buyers, whether they are novices or experienced, feel welcomed to express their talents.

AS A USER, BUYER, AND/OR SELLER, YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, INCLUDING VIEWING CONTENT, PROVIDING CONTENT, USING OR OBTAINING ANY SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND PROVIDED ON THIS SITE FOR ITS CONTENT AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE WEBSITE.
